Can I have some advice on the following: How do I get a colour directory listing equivalent to the Linux ls --color=tty? How do I set my screen / console up to use a higher resolution e.g. 132x43 - I use liloconfig to do this in Slakware. Is there an equivalent of liloconfig to set boot options in FreeBSD? Why do messages, such as log on messages, splurge across all the open consoles? It makes a real mess of programs running on those consoles. Finally where should I have looked for the answers to these questions so I needn's have asked here :-)) -- Jeff Gaines Heckfield Hampshire UK
