In 2.1 there was no problem with it. Hm, I'm using the XF86_S3 server on 2.2.1 and screensaver works by default. Which server are you using, i.e. what does /usr/X11R/bin/X point to? Does it work when you activate it manually with xset s 300 (activates the screensaver after 300 sec. without input) ? Bye, Philipp -- P.
