I hope that someone can provide a clear and direct answer for the question below. I would appreciate any help.. :) I currently have one 2 GB HD (IDE) in my FreeBSD machine. It is the only hard drive and the only OS on this particular workstation. Since I am running out of disk space, I have decided to add a second hard drive to this workstation. It was detected by FreeBSD during the boot. Unfortunately, I have attempted to find all pertinent information on this topic at the FreeBSD web site, but have failed to find any good and straightforward answers. What I would like to do, is to add the second drive and make the entire drive one partition (/d1). I tried to create this partition and mount it using the /stand/sysinstall , but was entirely unsuccessful. (which btw, was explained in the FreeBSD FAQ, but as I understand it, that is to install "A" hard drive into a machine, not "A SECOND" hard drive. Again, I would truly appreciate any assistance. Thanks! :) Paul Kane Email: ssnlink@access.digex.net
