I just asked this on the mailing list. I was able to get it working by
using PAP and having them disable Microsoft Authentication by:

    Control Panel (application)
    Network (icon)
    Services (tab)
    Remote Access Service (from list)
    Properties (button)
    Network (button)

CHAP just doesn't seem to work, and I hear it is something funny
Microsoft is doing.
