As joerg already hinted, just change your "lalt" entries to "meta"
in your keyboard map file

from:
  056   lalt   lalt   lalt   lalt   lalt   lalt   lalt   lalt    O

to:
  056   meta   meta   meta   meta   meta   meta   meta   meta    O
