Last night my machine locked up and when I rebooted, I couldn't dial out using cu. It told me that all ports are busy. I went in to /etc/ttys and turn the port off. Did the kill -1 1 and tried again. cu worked. I went and set /etc/ttys back the way it was and cu gave me the error again. Now, it has been 2 year since I set this system up and I have looked thru the FAQ and handbook and cann't find anything. Is there something I have to set to get the port to work for both dail in and out?
