I'm trying to run Matlab on my BSD machine,
I've copied a MATLAB binary ETC... from a
LINUX machine, I've also run the LINUX
emulation software, and installed the
libraries in the ports collection. I'm
having the following problem...

# matlab

                            < M A T L A B (R) >
                (c) Copyright 1984-96 The MathWorks, Inc.
                            All Rights Reserved
                            Version 5.0.0.4064
                                Nov 15 1996

LINUX: 'ioctl' fd=4, typ=0x89(‰), num=0x27 not implemented
MATLAB cannot be started.
Invalid returned data from license server (-12,16:22) Invalid argument

any ideas / has any one got Matlab to work with a license server??

Thanx in advance.
