I'm even shairing the printer via SAMBA and can print to it from my Windows system. This is all very cool. But there is ONE PROBLEM. I can't get flow control to work. Characters get lost and the print job get messed up. The printcap man page mentions using ms=<stty type capabilities>, which I tried. The Handbook mentions using fs@0x1123 to set bits, which I've also tried. And I've tried both hardware flow control and software flow control to no effect. I suspect that whatever configures the serial port is failing to set the flow control options. When I had a similar problem while configuring this printer for Windows I simply when to the Advanced port cofig dialog and selected "Hardware Flow Control" and the problem was solved. So, Anyone solved this problem and know what to do? -- ooooo -- Tom Unger oo\ oo Wet Weather Consulting o \ o (206)325-7403 o B I\V I o o \ o oo \oo ooooo
