Hey folks,

I installed FreeBSD 2.2.1 onto my Toshiba 610CT laptop. Everything
was fine and dandy until all of a sudden the APM decided to stop working.

Whenever I type "apm" or "apmconf" from the command line, I get a message
like "can't open /dev/apm" (sorry, I can't remember the exact message
and I don't have my laptop handy. I even get this message as root.

/dev/apm exists and everything else seems okay. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
-kevin
