In PC based UNIX systems, this is unnecessary. I'll forward your message to our WEB site editor, maybe it needs more clarity. The connectors are the larger 50 pin bail connectors, the 2940UW will work with this drive, but you'll need a 68-50 way adapter, all devices physically after the DDS drive must then also be narrow SE. -- __ / / Steve Walsh [Technical Marketing Engineer] / / Hewlett Packard [Computer Peripherals Bristol] / /___ _____ Filton Road / ___ \ / ___ \ Stoke Gifford / / / / / /__/ / Bristol BS12 6QZ /_/ /_/ / _____/ United Kingdom / / / / http://www.hp.com/go/tape /_/ Email: stevewa@hpcpbla.bri.hp.com --------------------------------------------------------------------- Opinions expressed are my own and are not intended to be an official statement by Hewlett-Packard Company ---------------------------------------------------------------------
