After upgrading my system from FBSD 2.2.1R to FBSD 2.2.2R I lost the use of my X-Windows and my Open Look interface. What happen in X-Windows was after logging into my system and starting the "X" session I noticed that the interface had change from Open Look (olwm) to the default of "TWM." Once the "twm" session had complete loading and the three default windows were created I try to type a character in the xterm window provided. As soon as I depress a key for a character my xterm windows closed and disappeared. This reaction was consistent for the remaining windows. Note that I could use my mouse I just could not use the keyboard. After existing the X-Windows session and returning to my shell account I notice the following errors on my monitor: " (null):warning: /usr/X11R6/lib/libXext.so.6.0: minor version 0 older than expected 1, using it anyway. " then " (null) Undefined symbol "XkbLookupKeySym" called from xterm: /usr/X11R6/lib/libXt.so.6.0 at 0x80bfbc0 " If anyone has information that could assist me please reply. I'm sending my Thanks in advance. Dave Hodge dlhodge@ix.netcom.com
