However I have no such device. When it further queries the device it gets a bad SCSI response, and goes into a loop printing the same error message over and over again. - If I choose the 2nd option to disable the devices I know I dont' have, then when proceeding to install the screen goes blank and it hangs. This happens whether I use the Visual or CLI mode. BTW, this scheme also fails on another computer, however on that other computer I managed to install the OS using the "skip config" option because in that case it didn't find any peripherals that would hang it. What's up? Does the option to disable device checks work at all ? Any help, pointers, etc much appreciated.
