Although I did the dnews port I have to say, that dnews isn't that clever in some areas. I wanted to use it in the company. But then I saw, that there is no way to include an Organization line configured into it. Because of this all articles from my company ended up in getting the Organization of our Internet Service Provider .... And this is certainly not, what a company want's .. ;-) > Someone asked me about adding a second, third etc. hard drive to a > FreeBSD server. Is this documented anywhere? FreeBSD Handbook ? FAQ ? Jörg posted Informations about this multiple times. Perhaps it's a good idea to browse the mailing lists on this topic .... Theoretically you can use disklabel, /stand/sysinstall ... If this doesn't work for you or isn't comfortable, then I would insert the news disk(s) into the system boot the FreeBSD boot floppy and would follow the steps of a new installation using the nice menues up to the point, where partitions are being initialized with newsfs ... voila and the disks are fine configured .. -- Andreas Klemm | klemm.gtn.com - powered by Symmetric MultiProcessor FreeBSD http://www.freebsd.org/~fsmp/SMP/SMP.html http://www.freebsd.org/~fsmp/SMP/benches.html
