Hi!
Recently I had two cases of the following problem while doing the
unattended backup:
DUMP: Date of this level 0 dump: Sat Jun 28 04:30:01 1997
DUMP: Date of last level 0 dump: the epoch
  DUMP: Dumping /dev/rsd0a (/) to /dev/nrst0
DUMP: mapping (Pass I) [regular files]
  DUMP: mapping (Pass II) [directories]
DUMP: estimated 14003 tape blocks on 0.01 tape(s).
  DUMP: dumping (Pass III) [directories]
DUMP: dumping (Pass IV) [regular files]
  DUMP: End of tape detected
  DUMP: Closing /dev/nrst0
DUMP: Change Volumes: Mount volume #2
DUMP: fopen on /dev/tty fails: Device not configured
DUMP: The ENTIRE dump is aborted.

********* Here is how it looks in /var/messages:

Usually it works fine, though. Even after thrasing root dump, it nicely
copies 450 MB of /usr & /var.
What does it mean? Something falling (drive/controller/tape)? Or is it high
time to switch to 2.2.2?

Thanks in advance Genie
