I will comment also. I too grab everything I can get, but my
orginizational skills are not the greatest, and time has been short lately
so I am passing on the responsibilities of the patchkit. The new patchkit
co-ordinator has more resources for this, and I am trying to organize a
list of people who are qualified to verify patches to help this out. If you
want to install patches, go for it, but my opinion has been that
patchkit patches are tested patches that correctly fix bugs, and
(hopefully) don't introduce any apparent new ones.

The next version of the patchkit could be released if I could get a fix
for the bug in the wd driver introduced by the original patchkit. I know
what the problem is, but I don't have time to fix it. If someone wants
to take a shot at it, I can send them the info I have.

Thanks for waiting,

Nate

ps. The most recent patchkit has greatly improved the stability of my
machine.
