When contemplating a non-Ultrix OS for a 5000/200, I looked at Linux, OpenBSD and NetBSD. I picked OpenBSD because the installation seemed friendlier. The installation (using a dd'ed simpleroot) was very straightforward. My only disappointment is the absence of dlopen() and dlsym(), preventing dynamic loading of extensions in Perl. Apparently, this is being worked on, and, presumably, applies both to OpenBSD and NetBSD. -- Philip J. Tait.....AlliedSignal Engines, Phoenix, Az.....+1.602.231.7104 PJTait@iee.org
