Subject: Trouble with mtools

I've recently install 386bsd-0.1 and I'm having trouble with mtools...In
fact they don't seem to be working at all. Here's an example:
mdir /dev/fd0a
init:open:No such file or directory
I'm used to just typing mdir a: to get a directory. Any suggestions?
