I intend to upgrade freebsd on 2 machines:

1. from 2.1.7 --> 2.2 release
2. from 2.2 alpha --> 2.2 release

I have to rebuild the kernel and I am not too familiar
with how the rest of the stuff will get rebuilt, meaning all
of the non-kernel binaries, etc. ?

I intend to download the src directory over ftp (actually over
a slow 28.8K connection using netscape.
Is there a single tar file for all the sources ?
I did not find it and can only find several files in
the release directory.

Your step-by-step instructional help will be appreciated !
