I found I had the sources somewhere (did I ask for that??) and was too dumb to compile them (whatever that means) properly. sysinstall to the rescue! configure, distributions, custom, then chose the games. Vwoompf! They installed beautifully. BTW, during my original install, after marking another distribution then adking to "custom"ise it (">>"), the install routine gave me that screen "hey, do you really mean it, say yes and I'll reformat your disk and install this lot!!". Well I said no and went round and round the loop, no escape till I gave in and said yes, then it did what it said it would. But I hadn't had the chance to check exactly what my chosen distribution had included. No games, obviously :-( I still don't know what else is in here. I guess if you do and ask for what you're expected to, the install works nicely. If you ummm and ahh and poke around, it can get more confused than you are. Similar problems happened here with linux BTW, but 2.1.5 was much worse than 2.2.1, and all were better than some commercial $oftware I use. Regards, -*Sue*- sue@welearn.com.au
