Hey Folks,

I just did a clean install of FreeBSD 2.2.2 and everything works well, but
i see a strange error in /var/log/messages when I "su":

Jul 3 00:48:19 holycow su: login_getclass: unknown class 'root'

It also happens when I ftp from my other box to the freebsd machine:

[agni]:~>ftp holycow
Connected to holycow.somedomain.net.
220 holycow.somedomain.net FTP server (Version 6.00) ready.

And then I see this in messages:

Jul 6 22:24:16 holycow inetd[642]: login_getclass: unknown class 'root'

Do any of you freeBSD gurus out there have any clue as to how this
error is caused, and what I may do to fix it? It doesn't affect the operation
of su or ftp at all, but its just annoying.

Thank you,
--ANindya
