O'Rielly (www.ora.com) publishes the Usenix set of BSD4.4 manuals. they have
been helpful to me in admining BSD systems for about a year now. SysVR4 and SCO
are different _enough_ fom BSD that it would be a great supplement to the
info available in most sysadmin books (whichgear towards SysV as you noted).

i have the SMM inthe 4.4BSD series. it should still be available.
