I am guessing that the internal IDE drive may be unsupported, but I do have a 2.1GB external SCSI drive that I am booting from, as 7.5.5 is installed on one of the partitions. Is there any set of instructions specific to this setup - I do have MacOS partitions on the external drive and would like to keep most of those. I also have a 1GB empty partition on the drive - could I just convert this one and use it for OpenBSD? Reason I ask is that the documentation on openbsd.com says that mkfs wants to rewrite the entire disk that is being used, and I don't want that. I'm also thinking of installing on a Zip disk and running from that, so I would be interested in hearing about experiences people have had doing this. Is it possible and how do you set up the partitions for usr/root and swap? If OpenBSD won't run on a Q630, is there any version of Unix that will? Thanks in advance...sorry for all the questions but I thought I would get them all in at once. :-) -- Mike Machnik machnik@tiac.net
