Hello,
I'm running a FBSD 2.2-stable machine and I finally got the ppp
options to work. I have it set up so that the machine (FBSD Box) which
is holding the dedicated connection to my ISP, dials on boot-up, This
works well.
My concern is that when I reboot the machine, control is not surrendered
for the modem. i.e. the line is still open or the modem dosen't reset or
reinatialized by the boot process. I'd like to know if there is
something that I can do to remedy this?.

Other concern is that latley I have been getting some errors..
specifically:
Error: Packet too large (4102), discarding.
HDLC errors -> FCS: 1 ADDR: 0 COMD: 0 PROTO: 0 too large, diacarding.
After these messages the line is dropped but the modem dosen't reset
again. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
