Get it! I'm an undecided beginner too, so I split my hard disk in three equal size partitions between win95, linux slackware and freebsd, using linux lilo as the boot manager, and everthing (that is, freebsd and linux,) works just fine. Lilo is just a little confusing as it insists on calling freebsd a "dos partition," but otherwise works just fine, just make sure the linux partition is the first partition listed in lilo.conf, and let the linux or freebsd disk manager overwrite the win95 partiton sector.
