Sorry, but that's NOT "in fact". While Windows/NT borrows from
Mach the idea of a kernel supporting multiple protected mode subsystems
each of which supports a distinct service model, NT doesn't use any
code from Mach. Go and read "Inside Windows NT" by Helen Custer
(1993, Microsoft Press, ISBN 1-55615-481-X). NT != UNIX (for all values
of UNIX). Internally, NT probably borrows more from VMS than anything
else - after all, Cutler always wanted a chance to redo VMS "right".
