Everything works all right, except for one small detail. The connection is way too slow. Using the ppp command from the prompt I can transmit FTP files at about 1.14k/sec. Interestingly enough, using pppd increases the speed to 2.2k/sec. Under Windows I got transmission speeds of close to 3k/sec. I've tried decreasing the MTU from 1500 to 700, but this didn't do me any good. Does anyone have any ideas about what might speed up my connection? Thanks. --Kevin
