I'm using the same (modulo rev. level) card, with no problems so far: de0: <Digital 21140A Fast Ethernet> rev 0x20 int a irq 12 on pci0.10.0 de0: SMC 9332BDT 21140A [10-100Mb/s] pass 2.0 de0: address 00:00:c0:e7:69:ef > After startup it automaticaly takes 100Mb/s.Is there any way to switch > to 10Mb/s manually? In which files do I need to make changes? My card comes up in 10Mb/sec with no problems. I have not tried it at 100 Mb/sec yet. It should sense this from your hub. If it is not coming up in the correct mode, one (slim?) possibility is that your hub/wiring are almost (10Mb/sec has worked before on this port?) but not quite correct. -- Hugh LaMaster, M/S 258-5, ASCII Email: hlamaster@mail.arc.nasa.gov NASA Ames Research Center Or: lamaster@nas.nasa.gov Moffett Field, CA 94035-1000 No Junkmail: USC 18 section 2701 Phone: 415/604-1056 Disclaimer: Unofficial, personal *opinion*.
