Installation on the previous releases was fine and worked excellent. But now the system panics with the reason: 'panic: double fault'. Installing 2.2.2 on a 486 runs fine, but on my pentium machine it dosn't. Both systems have ASUS boards and SCSI disks, streamers and CD-roms. They both have SMC ISA Ethernet cards. Why ist the 2.2.1 succesfull but the 2.2.2 not? Why on a 486 but on a pentium machine not? What does the panic message mean? Thanks, N. Grundmann -- EMail: grundman@i5.informatik.rwth-aachen.de
