TROLL WARNING - Probability: 80% (pardon if incorrect)

Connected Tactic: For behavior B of your "opposition" which you find offensive
but which they seem to enjoy, attempt to trigger it repeatedly, until it becomes
a neurotic response in your opposition instead of an enjoyable voluntary
behavior for them.

(Note that here the behavior which offends is display of knowledge of arcana,
which to the have-nots (non-UNIX users) appears that it must be done for
purposes of ego self-stimulation (I guess people will think in terms they are
familiar with), and so is not sufficiently selfless.)

On a related topic, is there a prevailing political orientation among the
voicenet user community ?

Fred

When I hear the words 'Connected', 'Trust' and 'Under Control',
I reach for my revolver.

If UNIX is the revenge of the nerds, the rest of the industry is the
football team and the cheerleading squad trying to produce a science
project, and expecting an 'A' because they're the football team and
the cheerleading squad.
