This web page offers an approach which I hadn't seen before: http://kludge.psc.edu/~ksulliva/netbsd/over-dos.html Overview of the process You create a large contiguous file in the DOS partition. You add an entry to the FDISK partition table which points at the file. You then build {Free,Net,Open}BSD normally using the new partition. This is probably not for the faint of heart or for the newbie, but supported by carefully designed tools could be of use. ============================================ Gardner Buchanan <gbuchanan@sympatico.ca> Ottawa, ON
