I mistakenly overwrote the old filesystem. However, when I boot from the boot floppy, it hangs after the following is output to the screen... changing root device to fd0c panic: double fault syncing disks... I have four 900MB SCSI drives on the machine runing on an Adaptec 2940 PCI controller card. There is no IDE drive in the machine. I'm wondering if something from the old install is messing up the new install. Any suggestions? --Chris www.christaylor.com
