I run squake with a Matrox Millenium 4 meg board under linux in vid_mode 7, svgalib found it as a different card. If this is bad for it, I dunno, but I have been playing svgalib quake pretty much since it came out, and it hasn't done anything bad so far. Under FreeBSD, I run the xquake16bpp binary, in the accelx 2.1 X server. No sound/CD Audio tho. (both work under linux squake and the 16bpp xquake) Anyone else have any luck? -- Jason Hall <halljb@mindspring.com>
